Angry Skrwl is enjoying a fast-growing rise within the graphic novel world with its latest addition “The Experiments” already making waves online. 

The comic was featured by GlobalComix as one of 6 comics that “inspire greatness”.  David Andrews from Comic Book and Movie review anointed it a “great comic”. The newest release has made it all the way to Amazon and Barnes & Noble and is rated favorably with its existing readers. Past releases such as “Princess of Demons” were positively received by audiences who’ve shared their appreciation for the novel on its Facebook page.

Reader Spotlight — The Experiments (Angry Skrwl)

Discovered via social media after finishing Princess of Demons, Sam R picked up The Experiments at Angry Skrwl in mid-2025. Sam expected action/drama at first, but the cover and title hinted at new sci-fi elements which piqued their interest . 

The details on the cover stood out. A cop with mismatched arms along with the human characters next to an animal sparked curiosity about how it all fits. The enigmatic Catch 22 page stuck with them and was re-read several times. The storyline behind Aisha and her kids was also one that had our reader hooked and eager to see what happens next. 

Sam has already mentioned The Experiments to a friend who loves graphic novels, is following the releases on social media, and plans on ordering issue #2.
